Data Analysis
The data analysis requires data to be transferred from the data file to the analyser Excel workbook.
This is achieved by opening the data file and leaving it running (minimised). While it is running start the GPAQ Analyser workbook.
From the start menu select "Programs" then "GPAQ Touchscreen 2009" then "GPAQ Data". The data file will appear. Minimise this chart by clicking the underline box in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then, again from the start menu, select "Programs" then "GPAQ Touchscreen 2009" then "GPAQ analyser". The analyser program will start. It will update its data for analysis and will display.
The analyser program opens with the "Printable document" of the results document.
According to the filter settings that you make on the "Printable Document" (click the tab at the bottom of the screen if necessary) either the data from the whole practice will be analysed, or data from those staff members that you select by entering their code on the filter table or data from the specific responder groups which you select on the filter table will be totaled and displayed.
The "Printable Document" clearly displays the results from the questionnaire in a combination of pie and bar charts and tables, which are ready for immediate printing, presentation and discussion. Go to print preview in the file menu and you will see the document as it is to be printed. To print the results document select "print" from the file menu or click the "print" icon on the toolbar.
The data may also be viewed on the pages with tabs labeled "PIES" or "BARS" which show the specific charts. These have been created so that you may select your own charts for other documents and include them by copying and pasting.
If you select the "setup" tab on the print preview page (from the file menu) for the selected chart you can change the appearance of the chart by changing the orientation from "landscape" to "portrait". (Select the image by clicking on it so that the borders around the image are marked with small cubes and then click print preview on the file menu).

Extra Questions
There are templates for four styles of touch-screen question pages to allow you to create your own questionnaire for the touch-screen. This gives you your own paperless questionnaire. You will have to analyse the results yourself from the data that will be entered in columns in the excel data file (Additional data) which is found in the GPAQ Touchscreen 2009 menu.
This image shows one of the extra question configuration screens:
The following image shows how the question which has been configured above will appear on the questionnaire screen:
Bespoke questions could be designed for practices or PCT/LHBs. The development of these would be subject to individual price quotations depending on the complexity of the questions, answers and analysis required.
